Terms of Service

1. Our service: record-keeping only

Finanseal is an app for keeping records of personal, family and (later) company finances: transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, debts and loans, reports and exports.

• Finanseal doesn't receive, hold, transfer or move funds in any form, and doesn't process payments.
• Finanseal isn't a bank, payment service provider, e-money issuer, lender or investment adviser, and isn't supervised as a financial services institution.
• Finanseal doesn't connect to bank accounts and doesn't pull data from bank systems. Records come from what you enter, confirm, or allow to be captured on your phone.
• Balances, budgets and reports in Finanseal are records, not official balances. They can differ from the actual balance in your bank or e-wallet.

2. Not financial advice

Everything in Finanseal, including Ask Sealy answers, the "safe to spend" figure and reminders, is general information to help you understand your own records. Finanseal gives no investment, tax, legal or financial advice and recommends no financial products. Financial decisions are entirely yours.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or older, or use Finanseal with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
• Give accurate information and keep control of the email, Google or Apple account, and phone you sign in with. You are responsible for activity in your account.
• One account per person. Usernames must not mislead, offend, or impersonate another person or brand.
• Tell us right away at hello@kasankaf.com if you think someone is using your account without permission.

4. Plans, trial and subscriptions

• Free is available with no time limit, with the feature limits shown on the pricing page. These limits may change; we give notice before reducing them.
• Trial. Every new account gets Premium free for one month. We remind you 3 days before it ends. This trial ends on its own with no charge; you go back to Free unless you subscribe.
• Premium subscriptions (monthly or yearly) are bought through Google Play or the App Store and are subject to their terms. The price that applies is the one shown in the store when you buy, in rupiah.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged by the store, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. If a store subscription includes a free trial, the first charge happens when that trial ends unless you cancel first.
• Cancellation and refunds. Cancel in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings; deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Refunds follow the policy of the store you bought from.
• Lifetime is a limited founders' offer: a one-time payment for Premium features for as long as Finanseal operates, with a fair-use cap on AI features. We may stop offering it to new buyers at any time.
• Fair use. "Unlimited" features are subject to fair-use limits to prevent abuse and keep the service reliable for everyone.
• When a plan ends, your data isn't deleted. Anything over the Free limits becomes read-only, and you choose which accounts, budgets and goals stay active.
• Business (when available) is for organizations only, with a minimum of 3 members, and may be invoiced directly to the organization under additional terms.
• We may change prices for future periods with notice, following the app store rules.

5. Shared workspaces

• A workspace owner invites members and sets their role (owner, editor, viewer, and for Business also submitter). Link invites work for 7 days and only once.
• Records in a shared workspace belong to that workspace. If you leave or delete your account, the transactions you added there stay in the workspace.
• Workspace features follow the owner's plan. If the owner's plan ends, the workspace becomes view-only for its members, with no data lost.
• Only record other people's data (such as a name in a debt record) when you are entitled to, and don't use a workspace to monitor someone without their knowledge.
• For company workspaces, the owning organization is responsible for its members' data and the records in it; additional terms, including a data processing agreement, may apply. Reimbursement approvals in Finanseal only record a decision; payments happen outside Finanseal.

6. Your data

Your data stays yours. You give us a limited permission to store, process and display it (including to members of workspaces you join) only to provide Finanseal, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export all your data (CSV) and delete your account at any time. We don't sell your data.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use Finanseal for unlawful activity, including recording or disguising the proceeds of crime;
• access other people's accounts, workspaces or data without permission;
• disrupt, probe without permission, or overload our systems, including through bots, scraping or mass sign-ups;
• reverse engineer the app, except as far as the law allows;
• misuse the AI features or forwarding addresses, for example for spam or content unrelated to record-keeping;
• upload content that infringes others' rights or contains malicious software;
• pretend to be Finanseal or someone else.

8. AI features

Automatic reading, category suggestions and Ask Sealy use AI and need your consent. Results can be wrong or incomplete, so check the records that matter. Don't enter sensitive data that isn't needed, such as passwords, PINs or OTP codes.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Finanseal available and secure, but the service can be interrupted by maintenance, third-party outages (such as app stores or the AI provider), or events beyond our control. The app keeps logging offline and syncs when you are back online. We may change or retire features; if Finanseal shuts down entirely, we will give at least 90 days notice so you can export your data.

10. Intellectual property

Finanseal, its logo, Sealy, the designs and the software belong to Kasankaf or its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Finanseal under these Terms. If you send feedback, we may use it to improve Finanseal with no obligation to you.

11. Limitation of liability

Finanseal is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for losses from decisions made on the basis of records, AI results or reports in Finanseal, or from third-party services such as app stores and banks. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Finanseal in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms reduces your rights as a consumer under Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection or other rules that can't be set aside.

12. Termination

You can stop using Finanseal and delete your account at any time, in the app or on the account deletion page. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, or that endanger others or our systems, with notice where reasonable. After an account is closed, its data is handled under the Privacy Policy. You must cancel app store subscriptions yourself in that store.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We prefer to resolve things by discussion: contact us first at hello@kasankaf.com and we will try to settle it within 30 days. If that fails, disputes go to the South Jakarta District Court, without limiting your right to any consumer dispute resolution available by law. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in force.

14. Language

These Terms are made in Indonesian and English. If the versions differ or conflict, the Indonesian version prevails.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For important changes we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Finanseal and delete your account before the change takes effect.
